Emily & Aaron's Wedding at The Woodstock in St. John's // Newfoundland Wedding Photographers

It's always an honour to be part of the most special day in a couple's life, but when the bride is a dear friend, it almost defies description.

Emily is a wedding decorator with Live Wire Events, so it's not surprising that the big day was incredibly stylishly and decidedly untraditional for a fall wedding.

The love and connection between Aaron and Emily is so strong it was present in the air that day. The emotions flowed freely as everyone present were caught up in the beauty of the couple's wedding.

Every wedding is unique and beautiful, but every so often, one has the chance to witness something truly magical - a single moment of perfect beauty as two people begin a new life together.

I'm honoured to have been able to share that moment with Aaron and Emily!

The special day began at Emily's parents' house, where the gals got glammed up!

Then it was onto downstairs to visit the boys as they opened their groomsman gifts! Can't forget about the liquor samplers... And a Koolaid for the bride's little brother! ;)

They all looked dapper in their own style of suits, and complimented the ladies' mismatched bridesmaid dresses perfectly!

Their seriously emotional first look was next, and it had everyone bawling their eyes out! Me, behind the camera- and the wedding party, secretly watching from the back deck! ;)

Emily & Aaron had the cutest little ring bearers!!

The photos were taken at the bride's grandparent's house near the water. During the shoot, we found a small boat moored nearby - an homage to the couple's engagement shoot they had done aboard a sailboat!

In the late afternoon, it was time to make it official!! We all held it together for the ceremony... For the most part ;)

After the I Do's and before their party at The Woodstock Restaurant, E+A just HAD to catch some of that gorgeous sunset light! It was a time for some beautiful, quiet reflection for them before the reception!
